- Checked charge at alternator, charging at 13.5v-14.0v. Alternator is okay. Tested battery, battery tested low at 385CCA out of 800CCA. Attempted parasitic draw test, found that draw bounces between 0.004 to 0.240. Charged battery and removed fuses 34(15A Navigation system/sound system) and 35(30A Audio Amplifier) from the driver side dashboard fusebox. Draw test now sits at around 0.004-0.008. The amplifer is the most likely cause to the battery drain at this time.

2009 Mercedes-Benz E350
Mileage181,413Service Date12/17/2025Services Performed- Communication/Notes:
- No labor charged for complimentary inspection. Vehicle is past due for a service. Driver side foglight is missing entirely. TPMS light is flashing. Vehicle also needs rear tires. Recommend to have the sensors replaced during tire replacement. Front brakes measure at 4MM. Will need to be replaced in the near future. Vehicle has a vibration and noise near the center console area. Most of the times with the noise and vibration being near the center console end up being a collapsed transmission mount which is very common on this generation Mercedes.
- Found 2 areas where oil is leaking. One area is the oil filter housing and oil cooler. EAH replaced the gasket for the filter housing and oil cooler back in 2019 roughly 40k miles ago. The second area is the crankcase oil breather cover located on the backside of the bank 1 (passenger side) cylinder head. The breather cover is very common to leak and leak onto the exhaust manifold/catalytic converter. Since the oil filter housing was resealed back in 2019 there is a chance the housing is slightly warped and is recommend to replace the housing. There may be more leaks on the bottom side of the engine, but to know for sure everything up top leaking down will need to be repaired, cleaned off and dye added into the oil for a future inspection.
- Includes oil change as the vehicle is past due for one. Also includes air filters.
- Performed diagnostic and found four faults in the ECM. *MB DTC 0521 Diagnosis of Tumble Flap 'Intake Manifold': Short circuit to ground of sensor lines/Tumble flap shafts stick in the actuated position. (P2004) – There is a hesitation/shimmy when accelerating. Faulty flaps are most likely the root cause. Recommend to replace intake manifold. *MB DTC 0750 Self-Adapatation of mixture formation for enleanment at idle for the left cylinder bank is below the permissible limit. (P0175) *MB DTC 1599 Plausibility error between signal of temperature sensor in intake pipe and signal of outside temperature sensor (P0071) – The vehicle reads at -36 degrees outside currently. The ambient temp sensor has been disintegrated from rubbing on the ground while driving. The sensor and connector will need to be replaced. *MB DTC 2096 The mixture in the left cylinder bank is too rich when idling – The engine air filters are very dirty and there is a bunch of debris in the air box which can and will cause a blockage of airflow going into the engine causing a too rich fault and or a mixture control for enleanment fault. Recommend and replaced air filters.

2009 Volkswagen New Beetle
Mileage159,158Service Date11/21/2025Services Performed- CEL is on. Faults for fuel trim system too lean, secondary air injection. Vehicle runs a little rough on start up, but smooths out after a minute. Cleared faults and the fuel trim system faults came back. Inspected and cleaned air mass meter. The sensor seemed to also be broken as one of the cover plates is coming off. Replaced air mass meter and vehicle still runs rough for about 10-15 seconds and then it smooths out. CEL is on. Customer was advised of issue and was told if it were to get worse to bring vehicle back to have another look.
- Both headlights have one or two bulbs that do not work. Remove headlights and inspect each bulb. Found each headlight has a burnt bulb. The headlight mounting brackets are both broken and the headlights were just screwed into the brackets. They'll hold, but new mounting brackets are needed. The turn signal/running light bulb has a burn mark on the glass. Needs a bulb. The low beam on the driver side headlight does not work with a new bulb. Possibly faulty wiring within the headlight itself, although the wiring looks good just from an inspection. Recommend to replace headlight and bracket.
- Oil is leaking from the top down. Oil pan is dented and scraped and possibly could have a small pin hole from where something impacted the pan. Recommend to start with valve cover as it is the highest point where oil is leaking from and also to replace the damaged oil pan.
- Replace valve cover
- Replace oil pan
- Vehicle has the wrong coolant. This vehicle is supposed to take G13 (pink) coolant. There is coolant leaking from the bottom of the radiator. Pressure tested and verified the radiator is leaking.
- Replace radiator
- 8MM in the front 4MM in the rear. The discs look okay.
- Replace rear brake pads

2017 BMW 330e
Mileage134,521Service Date11/5/2025Services Performed- Communication/Notes:
- No labor charged for complimentary inspection.
- Performed diagnostic and found 6 faults in the DME. *BMW DTC 21A117 Emergency run manger information: Switch-on requester combustion engine, request EME *BMW DTC 1C0102 Oil pressure control: Pressure too low *BMW DTC 1C2002 Oil pump: Pressure too low *BMW DTC 1FB801 Check control messages (ID 212): Engine oil pressure! Stop vehicle carefully *BMW DTC 118401 Mixture control: Mixture too lean, Deviation too high Checked oil filter for quality and whether or not it has collapsed. Filter has not collapsed, but it is a cheap brand filter that EAH does not recommend. The faults could also be from a faulty oil control valve which could cause an intermittent low oil pressure warning. Install a good known brand oil filter and clear faults to see what comes back after a test drive. Test drove vehicle and no oil pressure faults or warning came back, but can not say for the future. Even if the oil pressure regulator and or the VVT solenoid pressure valve is faulty the hybrid system has to be de-energized. During the test drive once the vehicle got hot enough there is a skipping and or stuttering when accelerating from a going at a constant speed. The recommendation is the start with a transmission service, however since these transmissions are complex with a hybrid system EAH recommends to take the vehicle to the dealer. Performed diagnostic after test drive. The only faults that reappeared are -Two in the DME *BMW DTC 1188002 Mixture control: Fuel-Air mixture too rich *BMW DTC 21A117 Emergency run manager information: Switch-on requester combustion engine, Request EME -Three faults in the EME *BMW DTC 031053 Electrical vacuum pump, Activation: Line disconnection *BMW DTC 0316A8 Information Emergency run manager, Electrical vacuum pump: Failed *BMW DTC 223065 EME: Internal fault (Electrical vacuum pump, Activation) Diagnostic printouts before and after vehicle test drive will be supplied to the customer.
- Performed diagnostic and found one fault in the IHKA control unit. *BMW DTC 801386 Electric Auxiliary Heater (High voltage): Coolant excess temperature detected This is an electric heater valve that is apart of the hybrid system that basically allows heat to be blown out of the vents when vehicle is running off battery power. The turbo system and A/C runs off the same coolant system (not apart of the main cooling system). The coolant level was low, but too low to overheat the system. Topped off coolant and heat still does not work. The auxiliary heater could be at fault, but due to it being apart of the hybrid system EAH will not work on the system. EAH is not hybrid trained. Recommend to take vehicle to the dealer.
